CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW EXPLAINED:

THIS SHOW IS OPEN TO ALL EXHIBITORS NO MATTER THEIR POINT STANDINGS.  TOP 12 IN EACH DIVISION WILL ISSUED A SPECIAL BUTTON TO WEAR IN THE SHOW RING.  ONLY COMPETITORS WEARING THE SPECIAL BUTTON WILL ACQUIRE POINTS TO BE TABULATED WITH THEIR CURRENT STANDINGS FOR THE END OF YEAR CHAMPIONSHIP.  SATURDAY EVENING THEIR WILL BE A COMPETITOR APPRECIATION PARTY WITH A DJ, GAMES, AND ITALIAN DINNER.

Dear Exhibitor,

 This year Fox Lea Farm has initiated an unique series of shows, these novel competitions consist of a non-rated hunter jumper show and an open performance show in conjunction with an AQHA All Novice Introductory Show and AQHA Horsemanship, Trail, Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation Special Even classes.  We feel this new mix and style of shows allows the opportunity for all types of riders to practice their style of riding before entering a rated or sanctioned competition where they will incur higher costs and a more demanding level of competition.  We are hiring the best judges, keeping prices extremely low, and creating an inviting environment for the inexperienced to experienced riders and horses.

 These shows were created to provide a stepping stone for new exhibitors to experience a high quality horse show in a relaxed atmosphere, for the performance rider to sample what AQHA sanctioned classes are, and an inexpensive venue for hunter/jumper riders to enjoy Marshall & Sterling classes.  This is also the perfect show for the skilled riders and horses to practice at and also enjoy a high quality event with low exhibitor costs.  All class champions will receive a Fox Lea Farm Logo prize and all classes are awarded ribbons through 6^th place.  These shows also offer performance overall weekend high point prizes for Walk Trot / Walk Jog, English Western and Gaited.

 On the performance side, Saturday of each show dates above will have normal open performance classes in conjunction with an AQHA All Novice Introductory Show.  Sunday of the dates listed above will have normal open performance classes in conjunction with AQHA Horsemanship, Trail Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation Special Event classes.  For exhibitors that are entering AQHA classes, it is required that their horses be registered with AQHA and riders must have a current AQHA membership.  Registration papers & membership cards must be presented to the show office upon entering AQHA classes.  The office can help riders join AQHA.

 On the hunter jumper side, we offer a Level 0 $1000 Mini Mini Prix on Saturday.  On Sunday we offer a Level 5 Mini Prix for the more advanced jumpers, again offering $1000 prize money.  Also on Sunday, we offer add-back jumpers at Level 0, 2, 3 & 4.  These classes only add to the fun for the Jumper riders!  For the exhibitors that are entering Marshall & Sterling hunter or jumper classes, for your points to count for Marshall & Sterling finals you must join Marshall & Sterling.  The office will be happy to help you with your membership if you would like your points to count.

 These shows have something to offer for everyone.  Whether you are coming to enjoy the AQHA or Marshall & Sterling classes or just to practice your skills in the schooling show classes, we hope you can come join the fun!  Do not miss out on the treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, chalk art and many more family fun activities during the show!  Do as much or as little as you want.  Just have fun!
